Welcome to Harrow International School Beijing

We are a close community strong within the association of Harrow Schools, proud to bear the name and tested to live up to the expectations 'Educating Leaders for a Better World'.

Harrow School opened in 1572, Harrow International School Beijing in 2005.  Following the British independent school model that recognises the importance of leadership in all phases of the school, we take our students from the Lower School through to GCSE and A Level to provide access routes into top international universities.

High academic standards unite the School and while our commitment to academic success is foremost, we know that this cannot be achieved in isolation.  Within the broad curriculum of Harrow International School Beijing, students are given opportunities and assessed on their critical creative thinking skills, their flexibility of approach, their ability to work with and serve others, and the determination they show when facing challenges.

Our teachers are all qualified and well-experienced, chosen for their commitment to their specialist area, their enjoyment in working with young people and belief in the values and high expectations of 'Harrow'.
