Harrow Beijing Book Week 2019 was held from 18 to 22 March. The aim of our whole school Book Week is to bring the School together to celebrate literacy and reading.
This year, the theme is 'Fairy Tales', which is an exciting genre of tales written for children of all ages! During the week, 2 authors from the UK, Ms Margaret Bateson-Hill and Ms Sara Hirsch, visited the school and hosted a series of workshops and activities for Harrow students. We also ran competitions including 'Guess Who Was Reading Here Treasure Hunt' and 'Book Shelfie Photography Competition', in order to encourage everyone to enjoy reading.
Finally, the Fairy Tale Dress-up Day was held on 22 March. All children were invited to dress up as a character from a fairy tale of their choice!
