University Destinations

Our students go on to top universities all around the world. Full-time university counsellors allow students access to specialist in-house knowledge of universities and colleges in the UK, North America and other areas of the world. Through this counselling Sixth Form students are guided to the right course for them in colleges and universities across the world. Additionally, the school is an accredited SAT test centre, providing students with the opportunity to prepare for and take the SAT exams with the guidance and support of our US university adviser. For those students who wish to pursue an Oxford or Cambridge application, preparation begins in the final months of Year 12 and includes seminars, tutoring and interview practice. Additionally the School invites outside speakers and university representatives to the School for specialists lectures and each year the students have the opportunity to attend a University fair in which University representatives attend from across the world.

As a procedure, we are allowing 12 university applications per student with a UCAS application counting as five and the University of California counting as one. This procedure provides the opportunity for students to focus their applications on targeted universities and also lets universities know that an application from a Harrow Beijing student is a carefully considered decision. We do not simultaneously support an ED application to the United States and an application to the University of Oxford or University of Cambridge.

Harrow Beijing does not rank students or calculate GPA.
