AISL Harrow Scholarship
The AISL Harrow Scholarships Programme seeks to enhance the diversity of our AISL Harrow community by attracting academically gifted students from around the world to study in our family of schools. Selected students will be awarded a fully funded two-year A Level education.
For 2023/25 academic entry, aimed at non-Harrow A Level applicants, 12 scholarships are available at six of the AISL Harrow Schools, including Harrow Bangkok, Harrow Hong Kong, Harrow Beijing, Harrow Shanghai, Harrow Shenzhen, and Harrow Haikou, each school providing two scholarships.

A Level is a two-year pre-university course. AS is the first year and students usually choose three to four courses at which they excel and are most interested in. A2 is the second year in which students can choose their three best courses from AS to continue their study and obtain the A Level certificate. A Level is widely considered to be an excellent preparation for the rigours of university study.
A Level at Harrow Beijing is contextualized in the history and tradition of Harrow School in London. The current subjects we offer at A Level include Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design Technology, Economics, Mandarin, Further Mathematics, English Literature, Geography, History, Mathematics, Media Studies, Music,Physics, Psychology and Theatre Studies.
In recent years, students at Harrow Beijing have achieved exceptional results in their A Level exams, which have helped them knock on the doors of the world’s best universities.

Application Process
Applicants can visit AISL Harrow Scholarship official website (https://www.harrowschools.com/aisl-harrow-scholarships/) for more details and to register interest. Applications close at 4:00 pm 9th December, 2022 (GMT+8).
Eligible applicants will be required to take A Level assessment tests from 9th January, 2023 to 27th January, 2023 and be interviewed online from 30th. January, 2023 to 24th February, 2023. The final application results will be officially announced on 31th March, 2023.
Eligibility
Completion of GCSE/IGCSE (or equivalent) studies before 1st August, 2023, with a prediction of outstanding grades.
Born between 1st September, 2006 and 31st August, 2007.
Be applying for Year 12 study commencing August 2023, with graduation in June 2025.
Not currently enrolled in any AISL Harrow School.
Harrow Beijing is a day school and does not offer boarding/residential accommodation. As such, all non-Chinese students must be accompanied in Beijing by a parent who has an official work visa and residence permit.
For all international applicants, in order to confirm eligibility to study in China, we will require the official Chinese visa number from the parent’s passport.
Students holding a Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR or Taiwanese passport should provide their passport/identity document number.
Selection Criteria
Academic performance at the top of the upper quartile of the participating AISL Harrow School applied to, measured by entrance tests, subject-specific tests, prior academic records, references, and interviews with senior staff.
Sufficient English language ability to fully access the course content of their chosen A Level subjects on the first day at the participating AISL Harrow School.
Proven capability in and a strong commitment to sports, creative and performing arts, service or other areas of co-curricular school life.
Evidence of examples of previous in leadership roles, positions of responsibility or commitment to service activities.
