Mrs Rachel Dent, Head of School, read to the City Campus children and reflected on the role that reading plays in education, and in our lives.
United We Stand

5 December, 2022

In the last few weeks the Harrow Beijing community has faced some of its biggest challenges with the return of online learning, travel restrictions and the return of quarantines. Through it all our community has stood together.

In terms of the online provision, the teaching staff have again shown their incredible creativity and ingenuity. The lessons have not only been hugely engaging but also allowed our students to feel connected to one another and their teachers. Central to this has been the wellbeing of all in our care. It has been wonderful to see Fitness Monday and now the World Cup showcase.

One of Harrow’s core values is courage and that has been abundantly evident in the school’s determination to stand together. Our leadership teams are all built on a spirit of collegiality and collaboration. We remain very proud of all our students, staff and indeed parents that have supported each other and indeed continue to approach each day with a smile.
