New Year Message from the Head

Dear Harrow Beijing Community,

There is absolutely no doubt that we are all very pleased to say goodbye to 2020. The Harrow community like so many is definitely closer as a result of the many challenges we have all faced. There have been moments of great sadness such as the fact that many of us have not seen our loved ones for many months. However, we have also shared great moments of laughter such as the staff Christmas Pantomime 'Peter Pan' which was live streamed to all our pupils on the last day of the term.

It is incredibly important that we now all look forwards with courage and optimism. This coming year will be the Chinese year of the Ox, a symbol of persistence and determination. This is a real feature of Harrow Beijing. In the last few days we have ensured we have met all the necessary requirements to open our school safely. We are here, open and ready to serve our community.

We know 2021 will have its many challenges but we will meet those challenges. We are a school full of enthusiastic teachers and great pupils. There will be times when we may need to find our inner strength but we will do so and like the Ox, we will do it with hard work and honesty.

Best Regards,

Rachel Dent

Head of Harrow Beijing
