School Is Back in Session!

On the morning of the first day, Harrow Beijing’s Headmaster, Mr. Phil Akerman, stood at the school gate with our teachers, warmly welcoming both returning and new students as they stepped onto campus.

Wearing crisp, neatly pressed new uniforms, our students entered the familiar grounds with great anticipation. Joy filled the air as friends reunited, greeting each other with smiles and excitedly sharing stories from their holidays and travels.

Laughter and lively chatter filled the corridors and classrooms. Students reconnected with their teachers, sharing tales of their growth and discoveries over the break. In this warm and festive atmosphere, the campus once again buzzed with life, and a vibrant new term officially began.

Back to the Classroom, teachers had carefully prepared a wide array of engaging and enriching lessons. With scientific rigour and inspiring dedication, they guided students back into the realm of knowledge. In class, students listened attentively, actively participated in discussions, and immersed themselves in Harrow’s international learning environment—broadening their horizons and sharpening their skills along the way.

During outdoor activity time, the playground rang with laughter and cheers. Full of energy, students ran and jumped, basking in the joy of sports under the warm sunshine.

Across the Harrow Beijing campus, scenes of purposeful energy reemerged. A new term brings new opportunities for growth and exploration. We look forward to seeing every student dive freely into the sea of knowledge, discover themselves through hands-on learning and physical activity, and begin writing the next exciting chapter of their Harrow journey.

As the curtain rises on a new school year, Harrow Beijing not only celebrates the return of familiar faces but also joyfully welcomes many new students into our warm and vibrant school community.

Before the beginning of the new term, the school hosted a grand and engaging Orientation Day. New students and their parents gathered on campus, where teachers guided them through classrooms, introduced the school’s culture and daily routines, and helped everyone feel right at home.

Through thoughtful interactions, parents gained deeper insights into their children’s academic life, while students made new friends in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

This sense of ritual and belonging empowered our newcomers to step confidently into the school year ahead—laying a strong foundation for their journey at Harrow.
