Academic Excellence|Harrow Beijing Class of 2025 Achieves Outstanding A Level Results
In the recently released A Level examinations, Harrow Beijing’s Class of 2025 once again achieved exceptional results, further underscoring the school’s outstanding strength in international education. This year’s achievements not only continued the high standards of previous years but also demonstrated significant progress in both top performance and overall quality.
Overall, the proportion of A* and A grades achieved by Harrow Beijing students was significantly higher than the UK national average. According to A Level results data in the UK, even leading private schools in Britain fall short of the standards reached by Harrow Beijing’s graduates. This remarkable gap reflects the dedication of our pupils and teachers alike, and further confirms Harrow Beijing’s consistent academic leadership.

This year, Harrow Beijing students reached new heights of excellence. Four outstanding graduates – Jason J (Mathematics), Malakai A (Natural Sciences), Simba H (Chemistry), and Simon X (Physics) – secured offers from the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge with near-perfect A* results across their subjects. Their success reflects not only their individual talent and determination but also the school’s proven ability to nurture future global leaders.
In traditionally challenging subjects such as Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, these four students were not alone in their achievements. Many others also earned A* grades in three or four subjects, highlighting Harrow Beijing’s enduring strength and competitiveness in STEM education.
At the same time, students excelled across a wide range of subjects including Economics, Chinese, English Literature, Drama, and Performing Arts, with top grades at A* and A further showcasing the breadth of talent and excellence within the graduating cohort.

Mr. Andy Hayes
Once again I am delighted with our student’s achievements at A Level and in awe of the wonderful array of university destinations they will now head off to. This year we have seen an increase in the number of top grades achieved. This is testament to the hard work of the students, and the commitment and expertise of our teachers. At the start of the last academic year we implemented some new approaches to assessment and monitoring, and we reviewed some aspects of teaching and learning; these have clearly contributed towards the success of our students, along with the series of Spring Saturday classes and exam preparation workshops. A huge congratulations once again to our students and a big ‘thank you’ to our teaching staff for their dedication, support and guidance
Director of Sixth Form
