Mr Yang Xiangdong 

Mr Yang Xiangdong was born in Beijing. He is a practising lawyer and a member of the All-China Lawyers’ Association. 

In 1990, Mr Yang graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a bachelor’s degree in law, and passed the National Lawyer Qualification Examination. 

In 1991, Mr Yang started his career at the Business Research Department of the All-China Lawyers Association. Between 1992 and 2000, he worked as a full-time lawyer in the State-owned Law Firm affiliated to the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. From 2000 to present, he runs his own partnership law firm and serves as the managing partner. 

Mr Yang focuses on investment, with industry expertise in energy, science and technology, media, education, sports, and modern services. He was appointed as Chinese legal counsel for many corporations and fund companies to participate in domestic and foreign equity investments, listings, and M&A projects. He owns a qualification in fund management in China, and has rich experience in legal due diligence, investment structure arrangement, risk control, compliance review, and post-investment management.
