University Offers | Global Success: Class of 2026 Secures Places at Top-Tier Universities!
While winter has arrived, the Harrow Beijing campus is glowing with the warmth of success. As of January 6th, following the rolling release of global university application results, our Class of 2026 has delivered an exceptional set of results in the early application season. This success is not merely a collection of offers, but a testament to the seamless integration of academic depth and personalized development under Harrow’s holistic education philosophy.

Global Perspective
UK & US Leading the Way
Success Across the Map
In applications to the UK, Harrow students continue to maintain a formidable advantage. Representing the elite “G5 Superlink” universities, University College London (UCL) has extended early offers. Simultaneously, the University of St Andrews—renowned as one of Scotland’s premier institutions—alongside several Russell Group members including King’s College London (KCL), the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Manchester, have sent congratulations, showcasing the profound academic caliber of our students.
The US direction is equally brilliant. We have not only secured an offer from Amherst College, one of the top liberal arts colleges in the United States—marking a breakthrough at the pinnacle of liberal arts education—but also received recognition from prestigious institutions such as New York University (NYU). Notably, our global reach continues to expand this year, with top-tier invitations from the University of Melbourne in Australia and the University of Waikato in New Zealand, achieving a spectacular multi-regional success across the UK, US, Australia, and New Zealand.
Artistic Excellence
Reaching the Pinnacle of
Creative Pathways
The most striking highlight of this year’s early results is the collective “explosion” of offers from world-class art and music conservatories.
In the field of design, we received consecutive offers from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)—often hailed as the “Harvard of the Design World”—and Parsons School of Design. In the realm of music, Berklee College of Music, a sanctuary for modern music, also extended an olive branch to our talented Harrow musicians. These offers prove that Harrow Beijing respects the unique personality and talent of every student, fully supporting them as they reach for the “glass ceiling” in their respective fields.
Student Leaders’ Voices
Witnessing the Power of Growth
at Harrow
Behind every prestigious offer at Harrow Beijing beats the pulse of a vivid journey of growth. As outstanding leaders of this graduating class, Head Girl Nina C and Head Boy Jeremy S use their personal experiences to illustrate how a Harrow education empowers students to transition from the campus to the global stage.
As Head Boy/Girl, what stood out to you most about leadership at Harrow Beijing? Which experiences played a critical role in your university applications?
Nina C:
One of the most memorable experiences for me was emceeing Harrow Beijing’s 20th-anniversary celebration. It was the first major task for us as newly appointed Head Students, and speaking in front of hundreds of faculty members and alumni required genuine courage. The positive feedback we received from the Senior Leadership Team and alumni afterwards was truly heartening. Throughout the year, we had numerous opportunities to speak at various events—from weekly assemblies to the Winter Concert—which consistently strengthened our public speaking and coordination skills. In my university application, I highlighted and took pride in having organized and hosted multiple school events. This experience not only demonstrated my competence in public speaking but also showcased my ability to lead collaboratively, manage events effectively, and engage with diverse audiences—qualities that are highly valued in higher education and beyond.
Jeremy S:
As Head Boy, what stood out to me most about leadership at Harrow Beijing was that it was never defined by the title, but by responsibility and service. Some of the most memorable experiences came from being trusted with real, visible leadership roles. Organising the Harrow Ball required coordination across students, staff, and external partners, and taught me how to manage large-scale projects, delegate effectively, and remain composed under pressure.
In addition, my involvement in organizing the Model United Nations Club allowed me to develop skills like diplomacy, managing disagreement, and guiding discussion towards meaningful outcomes.
Together, these experiences shaped my leadership style and played a critical role in my university applications by demonstrating initiative, communication skills, and an ability to lead thoughtfully in diverse settings.

As a member of the graduating class, what do you feel are the greatest strengths and unique features of Harrow’s A Level programme?
Nina C:
The greatest strength of Harrow’s A-Level curriculum, in my view, is its flexibility—it allows us to pursue subjects we are truly passionate about. With a wide range of options available, students can choose what genuinely interests them, which fosters deeper engagement and enthusiasm. Almost all my peers genuinely enjoy the subjects they have selected. Personally, I love working with numbers but am also passionate about writing and critical analysis. That’s why I chose Mathematics, Physics, and Economics for my A-Levels. This combination of STEM and humanities subjects has equipped me with versatile skills across different fields and enabled me to keep my options open when applying to universities.
Jeremy S:
Harrow Beijing’s A Level programme excels in depth, rigour, and academic support. Classes emphasise understanding over rote learning, encouraging students to question assumptions and engage critically with subject material. Teachers push students beyond syllabus requirements while providing strong individual guidance, which helped me develop independence and confidence in academic thinking.
Most importantly, the programme prepares students not just for exams, but for the intellectual demands of university study. I found this especially helpful as I prepared for academic competitions and university interviews.
The results as of January 6th are but a magnificent opening chapter. From the ancient hallowed halls of the UK to the innovative pioneers of the US, Harrow Beijing graduates are lighting up their own stars on the global map. We are immensely proud of our students who have received their offers, and we wish every Harrovian continued success in the upcoming decision season as they open the doors to their dream universities and head toward an even wider world!
