Lions Performance Academy

Lions Performance Academy will develop the next generation of young leaders, who are confident in speaking and performing masterfully in public. Students will engage in a unique, blended curriculum, The Young Leaders Drama Programme, harnessing the best of Harrow’s famous holistic and values-based education as well as participating in Harrow’s much acclaimed and successful LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) programme – the most successful LAMDA provider in all of Asia!

Learning Outcomes

Role play, character exploration, art and acting whilst emerging students in an English learning environment; Explore the reading, analysing and writing of scripts.

LAMDA Programme

• Year 2-3 (6-8 years old)

LAMDA Poetry,

Understanding and reciting Poetry

• Year 4-5 (8-10 years old)

LAMDA Prose and Verse, LAMDA Speaking in Public and LAMDA Acting

Students new to LAMDA will have the unique opportunityto trial various LAMDA programmes on offer, their work potentially fast-tracking them for official, internationally-recognised certification in October, according to their readiness.

The LAMDA programme will also cater for students currently enrolled in a LAMDA programme between Entry level and Grade 3, with additional time and focus spent on advancing their performance skills and readiness for their upcoming exams.
